Designed to combine all the features you could possibly want in a carrier.  From infancy to toddlerhood with the ability to carry your little one on the front facing-in, facing out, on your hip or on your back.

Infant and Toddler Fit:  The newborn insert is included and allows for 2 infant positions as baby grows starting at 7lb (3.5kg).  Infants can be carried on the front facing-in and then has the option of forward facing from around 5 months with hip carrying and back carrying from around 6 months with good head control.

Age Range: Suitable for 7-45lb or 3.5-20kg.

Adult Fit:  Lots of features to keep the adult comfortable while wearing the Beco 8.  Removable lumbar support and padded crossable shoulder straps for the perfect fit.  The chest strap slides easily up and down to find the best position, and the waistbelt is now adjustable from 24″ up to 54″ to fit sizes XS-XXL.  The shoulder straps are also dual adjust (can be pulled forward or backwards to tighten) so great for those who find it challenging to adjust backwards only.

Washing:  Lightweight, machine washable polyester

Additional Information:  There is an airflow panel on the main body of the carrier made from cooling, breathable, 3D mesh.  This panel is revealed by unzipping a cover (which can be stored in the waistbelt).  There is a hood built-in to the headrest and in addition to 1 pocket on the waistband for the airflow panel cover, there is a second pocket for essentials.  The buckles are durable with a safety button which needs to be pressed to release.  EU Safety Standard: EN 13209-2:2005.
